But replicas are just fakes, aren't they?

No! There is a fundamental difference - a fake is something that is manufactured by often unscrupulous methods that is intended to fool both amateur and professional collectors in to believing they are buying a genuine fossil and trick them in to paying unworthy and extortionate prices.  This constitutes a criminal offence in many countries.

Replicas are honestly produced and sold as they are, we will never attempt to mislead anyone to believe that they are genuine fossils.  Moulds taken of fossils are made with great care, the first priority always is to preserve the original specimen exactly as it is. Replicas are commonplace, in fact many museum exhibits of dinosaur bones and skeletons are replicas - museums often do this to preserve the original for future generations and allow scientific research to take place.
